Ultimate Max Assembly Instructions

1. First you will need to remove the shrink wrapping material and separate the packages from the pallet.
   
   
    

2. Carefully open package and remove all packing material and bubble wrap.
   
   
    

3. Find the two tiller support brackets and discard.
   
   
    

4. In the basket on the scooter floorboard find the following items and identify.
   
   
    

5. Once all packaging and accessories have been removed, place tiller in upright position and remove scooter from box by using two strong people or cut the box at each corner and roll out of the carton.
   
   
   
   
    

6. Find the four Phillips head screws located as pictured and remove.
   
   
   
   
    

7. Pivot rear cover up to access battery compartment.
   
   
    

8. The plastic battery filler trays are used only if smaller sized batteries are used if they are in your battery trays simply pull out and discard.
   
   
    

9. Locate battery Velcro hold down and pull strap out of front slot and feed it up under the battery tray between the metal frame to accept the larger size batteries and to securely strap you batteries in place.
   
   
    

10. Locate the two batteries and carefully open the packages and find the terminal bolts.
    
    
     

11. Connect the battery terminals to the batteries taking extra precaution to assure that you connect the red + terminal to the red + terminal and the black - negative terminal to the black - terminal. Hooking these up incorrectly will damage the electronic module in your new scooter.
    
    
    
    
     

12. Connect both battery quick disconnect plugs.
    
    
     

13. If the rear lights are equipped on your scooter plug the rear light plug to the remaining plug located in the front of the battery compartment. Reinstall rear cover by reinstalling four screws that were removed in step # 6.
    
    
     

14. Find your seat box and carefully open the seat package and remove seat.
    
    
    
     

15. Find gray trim pieces that was shipped in the black basket that was located on the scooter floor in shipment.
    
    
     

16. Lay seat on stable platform and attach gray trim pieces to hinges on seat using four supplied screws (smaller screws are four lower rounded pieces, larger bolts are for wedged shaped pieces).
    
    
    
    
    
    
     

17. Slide tilt lever plastic handle over metal tilt lever and attach with pan head bolt.
    
    
     

18. Place seat on seat post as shown.
    
    
     

19. Attach head rest to back of seat.
    
    
    
     

20. Find head light that was shipped in main scooter box and attach to front of scooter by plugging in electrical connector and attaching two screws (if bracket is too wide use a pair of pliers and compress the bracket so ears on back of light fit freely on bracket)
     

21. Locate rear view mirrors and install by screwing mirrors into mirror mounts, situate mirrors for best viewing angle and tighten down both jamb using supplied wrench in the tool kit.
    
    
    
     

22. Final adjustment is obtained by inserting supplied Alan wrench into mirror mounts and tightening in desired position.
    
    
    
     

23. Install front basket by sliding basket in mounting bracket.
    
    
    
     

24. Install arm rests in mounts under seat by turning the mounting knobs counterclockwise and pulling out on the spring loaded knob and positioning arm rests in the desired position tighten to secure arm rests.
